Ambassador Elizabeth Frawley Bagley

Biography

Ambassador Bagley was sworn in as Special Representative for Global Partnerships in the Office of the Secretary of State on June 18, 2009. She served as Senior Advisor under former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright where she established and headed the Office of Media Programming Acquisition for the newly independent Balkan states. From 1994 to 1997, she served as the U.S. Ambassador to Portugal. Ambassador Bagley is a longstanding member of The Council on Foreign Relations and the Clinton Library Foundation.
