Deepti leads the development of product partnerships across Asia for Facebook. She is a social entrepreneur who has started and led non-profit and for-profit organizations for social change. Prior to joining Facebook, she founded Haiyya, a platform for building leadership in ordinary citizens to create communities in their neighborhoods to tackle civic governance issues.
As the Country Director of Escuela Nueva, she up its first India program bringing its education methodology to low cost private schools. Prior to that she designed and launched the Acumen Fund Fellows Program, which develops leaders through training and field placements with social enterprise globally. Her work has been featured in Business Week, India Today, Mint, and Femina.
She started her career as a management consultant at Katzenbach Partners on organizations design and helped launched Marshall Goldsmith Partners, an executive coaching and leadership development firm.
Deepti is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School and the Wharton Business School and holds a bachelors degree in Psychology. She is a TED Fellow, an Aspen Institute Ideas Scholar, and serves on the Board of the Leading Change Network.
