Dia recently graduated with a masters degree in International Education Policy and Management and a certificate in global health from Vanderbilt University. She was a student leader at the Center for Social Ventures and chaired the annual Social Ventures Summit. During graduate school, she held a job at the Office for Inclusive Excellence, an initiative of to create and maintain a diverse campus climate for students and faculty. Prior to her masters, Dia was a fellow with Teach for India in New Delhi where she taught 60 kids in an under-resourced government primary school for two years. She has a bachelors in Economics and has previously worked as a financial analyst for a consulting firm.
Fun Fact: Dia loves to backpack and has backpacked through a major portion of the Himalayas, and most recently, through Western Europe.
