Erin Harrington

Grants Manager, Skoll Foundation

Biography

Erin works on the grants management team, responsible for the centralized grantmaking systems and processes for the Skoll Fund, Skoll Foundation and the Skoll Global Threats Fund.

Prior to assuming his current role, Erin served as the Finance and Grants Assistant for the Blue Shield of California Foundation. There, he was responsible for processing the annual grants and payable budgets, as well as redesigning the Foundation’s financial reporting and budgeting systems.

Erin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Davis. While attending college, he was a finance commissioner in student government and spent summers volunteering as a counselor at a camp for underprivileged and inner-city youth. During his junior year, he attended Copenhagen University in Denmark, where he studied Western European welfare and pension policies. In his spare time he enjoys board games and wine, preferably both at the same time.
