Design strategist with focus on banks, insurers, people, and money, IDEO
James Moed, a Business Factors Strategist at IDEO in London, works with design teams to develop insights and solutions that are both actionable for clients and compelling for the customers they serve. Having used design driven approaches to create product roadmaps, business plans, and innovation management systems, James has seen how an empathetic, human centered perspective can lead to better strategy. His experience cuts across sectors including IT, furniture, food, and financial services. Before joining IDEO, James spent many years developing new business opportunities in the media, working with clients ranging from international radio station groups and manga publishers to MTV Europe. After earning an MBA from INSEAD, he joined Jump Associates, a design strategy firm in the US. He holds a BA (Hons) in International Relations from Brown University.
