Jerusha Conner

Biography

Dr. Jerusha Conner is an Associate Professor in the Department of Education and Counseling at Villanova University. She graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with an A.B. in English Literature. She has held positions as an admission officer, a high school English teacher, a college counselor, a coach, and a research analyst. She received her Ph.D in Education: Administration and Policy Analysis from the Graduate School of Education at Stanford University.
Dr. Conner’s research focuses on student engagement, student voice, youth organizing for education change, and youth activism. She is the author of numerous scholarly articles and op-eds. Her most recent book is Contemporary Youth Activism: Advancing Social Justice in the United States
