Joseph is a passionate innovator focused on supporting organizations to do well while doing good. He has over nine years of increasing responsibility in complex international programs and partnerships. In his day-to-day work Joseph excels at amplifying social impact with communication, facilitation, and strategic thinking. He founded a non-profit in 2006 which delivered appropriate technology and capacity building to East Africa. The nonprofit work led to employment with teams in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2008 - 2009) and the United Nations Children's Fund (2010 - 2014). In 2011 he founded the UNICEF-Geographic Information System (GIS) a mobile mapping innovation deployed for youth focused community risk reduction in Brazil, Haiti, Argentina and Cameroon. In 2014 he became a Senior Communication Advisor to the Silicon Valley based nonprofit InSTEDD and began facilitating social intrapreneurship courses with Ashoka Changemakers.
