Lucia Nader is, since April 2011, Executive Director of Conectas Human Rights. Before becoming the Executive Director, Lucia created Conectas´ Foreign Policy and Human Rights Program with the aim of monitoring and influencing Brazil´s and other emerging powers international behavior on human rights. She holds a postgraduate degree in Development and International Organizations from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences-Po) and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the Catholic University of São Paulo. Lucia was named a social entrepreneur by the Ashoka organization in 2009 and she is the author of several published articles, including, recently (2014), "Mismatch: why are human rights NGOs in emerging powers not emerging?" at Open Democracy.
