Michael is currently completing an MBA at the Said Business School, University of Oxford.
Prior to coming to Oxford, Michael led a team working on an Australia first programme of ‘Welfare Reform’ in remote Aboriginal Australian Communities. This involved the design and delivery of innovative programmes in education, financial literacy, parenting and home ownership.
Before this, Michael worked on a Venture Philanthropy start up in Zimbabwe. The organisation developed strategy and operational plans with many small Zimbabwean social enterprises and sought funding for these groups from within the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO) and Zimbabwean corporates.
Michael began his career in Corporate Banking for ANZ in Australia. He holds bachelor degrees in Economics and International Business from the University of Queensland.
In his spare time he enjoys kitesurfing, fishing, scuba, rugby, cricket, current affairs, and camping.
