UK Director, Individual
Pip is country director of Ashoka in the UK. She joined the team after completing an MBA at Oxford University's Said Business School in 2016.
Australian by birth, Pip has spent the majority of her professional career in South Africa. While there, she co-founded, and for five years was CEO of, the youth development organisation, enke: Make Your Mark. She consulted for a number a different organisations, with projects including an innovative finance initiative at the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Cape Town, and research on the ecosystem of entrepreneurial support across the continent for the Australian government. She has served on several boards, including Beyond the Lemonade Stand (a South African youth entrepreneurship social enterprise), and has facilitated strategy development with organisations like Ikamva Youth (an award-winning South African education non-profit).
For her work in social innovation she’s been awarded a Skoll Scholarship in 2015, an Ashoka Fellowship in 2014; and she was a World Economic Forum Global Shaper from 2013-2014.
