Sarah Miers

Analyst, Skoll Foundation

Biography

Sarah joined the Skoll Foundation in 2016 as an Analyst on the Portfolio & Investments Team. As an Analyst, Sarah works to understand the innovative models and impact of Skoll’s social entrepreneurs and surface opportunities for future investments.

Before joining Skoll, she served as a Manager of Corporate Responsibility at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, where she advised a portfolio of corporate clients on their social responsibility programs. She previously worked as a Program Coordinator for the Seva Foundation, a public health nonprofit focused on global eye care. She also has experience in the field of social entrepreneurship through work with Fair Trade USA and the Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation team at the Inter-American Development Bank.

Sarah holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Global Studies and Spanish from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. Outside of work, you’ll find her on the soccer field, in the darkroom or searching for live music in San Francisco.
