Dr. Seema Yasmin is a staff writer at The Dallas Morning News, a professor of public health at The University of Texas at Dallas and a CNN medical analyst. Yasmin served as a disease detective in the Epidemic Intelligence Service at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention where she investigated epidemics in maximum-security prisons, American Indian reservations and healthcare facilities. Yasmin trained in medicine at the University of Cambridge in England and in journalism at the University of Toronto.
