Biography
Seth has completed a Master of Science in Environmental Change and Management at the University of Oxford and is complimenting this with an MBA as he sees that business is what will take the initiative and drive the change needed to prevent excessive temperature rise on our planet.
Previous to his studies, Seth was a Program Analyst in the Climate Investment Funds at the World Bank Group, working to on the Scaling Up Renewable Energy Program. This initiative looks at growing a trust fund for supporting renewable energy technologies in low income countries and support the development of investment plans in low income countries. Seth has worked in several policy roles, some in Washington D.C., mainly relating to environmental and energy issues.
Seth’s goal is to help cities as main drivers in the transition to a low-carbon economy by showing them that they are able to profitably facilitate the transition. He will achieve this by leading a fund to offer consultation around appropriate low-carbon solutions for a city and its infrastructure through investor-friendly green bonds.
Seth holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan and is currently enrolled in a Master of Science in Environmental Change and Management at the University of Oxford.
