Biography
Sophie Dollar works in Strategic Initiatives at Girl Hub, Nike Foundation. For the past two years, she has been leading the design and implementation of a global, multi-million pound start-up incubator, in partnership with DFID. The incubator launches in September 2014 and will identify and support (through funding and technical assistance) early-stage ventures producing innovative products with the potential to empower adolescent girls, whilst building a compelling body of evidence to stimulate private sector investment in this space.
Sophie also leads on innovative M&E initiatives, with a specific focus on data-mapping and visualisation, to engage new audiences and stimulate investment.
Prior to this she worked in business development and brand strategy for blue-chip and NGO clients such as Coca-Cola, Nike, Nokia and Fairtrade.
