Susan Edda Seehusen is the executive director of CSF in Brazil. She studied economics at the University of Campinas in Brazil and holds a master's degree in Sustainable Forestry and Land Use Management from the University of Freiburg in Germany. Previously to CSF, Susan worked for the German Development Cooperation (GFA Consulting Group, GIZ and KfW) in the fields of economic instruments for nature protection, payment for ecosystems services, the economics of ecosystems and biodiversity and natural resource management in tropical forest regions. Susan is one of the editor’s and author’s of the book Payment for ecosystems services in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest – Lessons learned and challenges.
