In the spring of 2010 Uffe Elbæk accepted to run for the Danish Social-Liberal Party in the coming national election for the Danish Parliament. Uffe Elbæk is also on the board of several Danish and international organizations, and has over the years received numerous honors and awards, ranging from his appointment as ambassador for the local premiere league football club AGF to Knight of the Dannebrog. Today he lives with his partner Jens in a big old apartment in the heart of Copenhagen.
