Biography
Vince O'Hara is a consultant at the Skoll Foundation. He evaluates investment opportunities and manages partnerships, including the United Nations Global Innovation Partnership. Previously, he was a vice president of project finance for international banks in New York. He began his career in international development, first as a volunteer teacher in Namibia with WorldTeach, then as the WorldTeach Namibia field director and subsequently as a consultant for UNICEF and UNDP, where his work included conducting the United Nations Common Country Assessment, evaluating UNICEF's Master Plan of Operations and writing fundraising and advocacy materials. In addition to the Skoll Foundation, his consulting clients have included the Social Venture Network, the Leakey Foundation, Visa, other nonprofit organizations and various software and clean tech companies.
