Solutions for a Changing Climate

From mitigation and clean energy innovation, to adaptation and building community resilience, what will solve the climate crisis?

The dynamics of climate change impact every corner of the globe, from the villages of the Marshall Islands, to the streets of Manhattan.

Within that universality though is distinct injustice—the most marginalized have suffered the impacts of climate change first. Increasingly extreme weather events threaten the lives and livelihoods of those with the least resources and the most to lose. The impacts of climate change on natural and human systems are already evident on all continents and across the oceans. The time to act is now.

This series explores approaches and solutions from Skoll social entrepreneurs around the world. From the smallholder fields of East Africa to the boardrooms of the Fortune 500, we’ll highlight trends we’ve seen in efforts around climate mitigation, adaptation, building resilience, and the funding of climate solutions.
