Female Founders of Social Enterprises: What Support is Critical for Greater Impact?

Tuesday, April 10, 2018

Session Description

You are invited to be part of this interactive discussion about what Women Social Entrepreneurs really need to scale their impact, AND to thrive personally.

In collaboration with leading incubators, donors and researchers, the WILD network – Women Innovators and Leaders Development Network is bringing together experts in gender lens investing, researchers who study what supports women social innovators to scale, foundations and incubators taking the lead on serving women social entrepreneurs; and successful women social entrepreneurs.

From this event, you’ll gain leave with new information, concrete tools you can apply in your organization, and an expanded network of individuals and organizations to collaborate with on this topic. It also offers a “rocket fuel injection” that comes from women leaders speaking frankly about their opportunities and challenge.

This forum is for funders, investors, incubators, women social entrepreneurs and media groups and others committed to amplifying the work of women social entrepreneurs across multiple sectors.

Speakers coming from:
– Skoll Foundation
– Ashoka
– Georgetown University McDonough School of Business
