Managing DirectorMIT Enterprise Forum of the Pan Arab Region
Joelle Yazbeck has a passion for entrepreneurship and supporting young talents in the Arab world and has become part of the MIT Enterprise Forum of the Pan Arab Region (MITEF) since its inception. Joelle has actively contributed to the development of the MITEF’s flagship Arab Startup Competition www.mitarabcompetition.com that has nowadays become the largest entrepreneurship competition in the Arab region receiving more than 5,000 applications yearly from 21 countries.
Based in Silicon Valley, Joelle oversees the overall management of MITEF and assists to its strategic direction and the expansion of its programs. The MITEF has grown its activities beyond the Startup Competition catering for growth companies looking to expand into US markets, where Joelle is currently developing an immersive program. MITEF has also embarked globally-recognized programs and partnered up with renowned worldwide organizations.
Joelle holds a BA in Economics from Notre Dame University (NDU, Lebanon).
