Louise James

Global Programmes Lead, Accenture Development Partnerships

Biography

Louise James is a Managing Director in Accenture’s management consulting practise where she has worked since 1997. Within Accenture Louise is the Global Programs Director for Accenture Development Partnerships, a not-for-profit consulting group that provides consulting services to the international development sector on a not for profit basis.

Louise oversees all of ADPs work with international NGO’s, donors and Foundations and has a particular focus and interest in cross-sector partnerships between the private sector and civil society. In 2011 Louise was appointed to the board of BOND (the membership organisation for international NGO’s in the UK) and in 2011 was voted one of Devex’s 40-under-40 International Development Leaders in London. In 2012 Louise was appointed to the Independent Review Panel of the iNGO Accountability Charter. In 2013 Louise was appointed to the Steering Committee for the Blueprint for Better Business, an initiative focused on rebuilding the trust between business and society.

Prior to working in the not for profit group Louise specialised in supply chain and technology consulting to consumer goods, retail and chemicals companies.
