Richard is the Managing Director at FINCA UK leading and managing fundraising, public outreach and social investment strategies and activities in the UK and Europe in support of FINCA's mission to provide financial services to the world’s lowest income entrepreneurs so they can create jobs, build assets and improve their standard of living. FINCA operates in 23 countries serving over 1.5 million clients a year. Previously Richard was Interim Director of Ventures at the Young Foundation where he led on venture selection and support, capital raising for new venture funds, social finance and venture related advisory work. Prior to the Young Foundation, Richard was Head of Social Investment at CAN. He is also currently non-executive Chair of The SROI Network. Richard has an MBA from the University of Cape Town and London Business School and a BSc(Hons) from Kings College London.
