Happy Hour: New & Emerging Tools for Impact Investors

Thursday, April 12, 2018

Session Description

Impact investors create impact by devouring risk. Many projects financed through impact funds are in areas with weak rule of law, where social and environmental conflicts at a local level can undermine both financial and impact returns and where lack of knowledge by investors on social change gets in the way of achieving positive impact. New and emerging tools are needed to protect investors, the sustainability of their projects, communities, and the environment. Come learn what these tools are and help influence their development at this ecosystem event with leaders in the field.

Hosted by Gayle Peterson, Director of Social Finance and Impact Investing Programmes at Said
Business School, and Natalie Bridgeman Fields, Founder & Executive Director of Accountability
Counsel.
