Join Us for Skoll Week in Oxford, April 9-13, 2018

November 2, 2017

In five months, our global community of social entrepreneurs and innovators will convene for the 15th Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship. Each year, we invite new and returning delegates from all sectors and geographies to participate in rich dialogue and forge new connections that will help them continue to tackle the world’s most pressing problems.

There are many ways to participate in Skoll Week activities, and we’ll begin sharing additional information in the following months. Two initial opportunities are:

Join as a Delegate

In light of our 2018 theme, The Power of Proximity: Closing the Distance, we seek the fresh voices of leaders who have emerged from—or are working in lockstep with—communities aiming to create lasting solutions to the problems that affect them most. Join us to explore the value of “getting proximate” in order to fully understand problems and create just and sustainable solutions. Apply here by December 8, 2017.

Host an Ecosystem Event

During Skoll Week, independently-organized events take place throughout Oxford. By hosting an Ecosystem Event, you can engage the Skoll community around emerging issues and promising solutions. Ecosystem Events can be open to members of your organization’s network, the public, as well as Skoll World Forum delegates. We will select ten Ecosystem Events to be featured in Skoll Week promotional materials and to receive logistical support. The remaining Ecosystem Events and community activities will be posted on skoll.org. To be considered as an event host, apply here by December 8, 2017.

We will review each application and notify all applicants by December 22, 2017.
