Alexis Burwell

Biography

Alexis S. Burwell is currently working on a research project on behalf on the Skoll Foundation and The Pershing Square Foundation (PSF). She and Olivia Leland are investigating the social entrepreneurship landscape, with the objective of identifying specific ideas and opportunities for growth over the next 10-20 years. She previously worked for PSF as a Program and Evaluation Officer reviewing grant and investment applications, working with portfolio organizations, and also spearheading a strategic initiative on evaluation for the organization. Prior to PSF, Alexis was based in London with Deutsche Bank’s Global Private Wealth Management COO team, collectively responsible for strategic planning, business development and communications for the division worldwide. She started her career with Goldman Sachs. Alexis holds a B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University.
