Senior Director, Participant Media
As Senior Director of Social Impact, Amanda leads Participant Media's Social Impact Insights and Partnerships team, identifying and developing key strategic partnerships to support Participant’s impact initiatives and guiding company-wide impact strategy through social issue research. Prior to this, she worked with brands and foundations to drive greater impact through storytelling and media. Working closely with Pivot and TakePart, Amanda built and oversaw TakePart World, a multi-media global health and development content series funded by the Gates Foundation.
Before re-locating to Los Angeles, Amanda was Associate Director of Commitments and Head of Global Health at the Clinton Global Initiative, overseeing CGI’s health programming and leading strategic efforts to optimize its platform for storytelling, partnership, and action. She has also worked for the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), Citrix Online, and Education First in research, marketing, and curriculum development, respectively.
Amanda has a B.A. in International Development Studies and an M.A. in Global and International Studies (Global Political Economy).
