Biography

Head of the Environment Unit at Roberto Marinho Foundation in Brazil since 2008, where I manage a portfolio of educational projects, including the Forest Management Education; the Watershed Management Initiative; and the Young Scientists Award. I have worked in environment for over 10 years in the fields of learning and communication. Managed the network of communicators and the global learning initiative at Conservation International in the U.S. from 2002 to 2008. Much of my experience is related to participatory planning, community development, environmental awareness, capacity building and project management. Prior to CI, I've worked in the financial sector. I graduated in Journalism and continued my studies at the University of Paris II. I have a Master in Business Administration at the Getulio Vargas Foundation in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I believe in the power of cross-sector partnerships and I am passionate with the challenge of educating for sustainable development.
