Ángela Escallón is a renowned leader in social issues with over 30 years of experience in the public, private sector as well as with international cooperation. She graduated from the University of los Andes in psychology and has a specialization in clinical psychology. Throughout her career she has worked with the Office of the President, the Mayor´s office of Bogotá and the Department of Education amongst other, she has also been a consultant for the regional office of UNICEF for Latin America and has held social manager positions for projects in Africa and Asia based in Italy where she resided for 7 years.
