Biography

Anne has over 12 years' experience advising and investing in businesses - from Fortune 500 companies, to NGOs and small-scale startups - across strategy, growth, climate change, clean energy, water, waste, sustainability, cradle-cradle impact and ethical supply chains.

Anne has been a speaker at global sustainability events, including the Renewable Energy World Conference, European Renewable Energy Project Finance Conference and is a local advisor to TEDx. Anne is a Senior Vice President of clean energy and energy storage investment firm Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners and previously worked at a number of international investment and advisory firms including Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse.

Anne is the Founder and a Director of Elkie & Ark, a young business committed to changing the impact and responsibilities of consumer businesses, with particular emphasis on transparency, ethics and sustainability from cradle to cradle. Her business has been awarded a national Australian sustainability award and named as one of the top 10 Australian businesses changing the world. Anne is a mentor to new businesses seeking to change their sourcing practices and a published writer on the issues surrounding profitability, ethics and sustainability in modern business.

Anne holds a Master of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Science specialising in Environmental Science. Anne has lived and worked with at risk communities in Australia, India and Thailand to try to combat some of the issues on the ground - in particular child labour, trafficking of women and poverty - and focuses her work on the role of business and education to resolve these issues.
