Beatriz Guillén is a Social Innovation Executive at CAF, the Development Bank of Latin America, which consists of 18 countries in Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe as well as 14 private banks from the Andean region. Prior to CAF she worked for three years as an Associate at Enterprise Solutions to Poverty (ESP), based in New York. ESP works with about 150 leading companies and banks in India, China, Kenya, Colombia and Mexico to build inclusive businesses and finance. Beatriz also worked as consultant for TechnoServe in Ethiopia to build quality and productivity in small holder soybean and groundnut producers in Ethiopia, as a market based means to build nutrition. Beatriz has a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities and Journalism from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University in New York. Beatriz is a Spanish national, and fluent in English, Italian and Portuguese.
