Biography

As a Principal at the Skoll Foundation, Brittany Hume manages a variety of key relationships with funded social entrepreneurs, domain experts, policy makers, corporate partners and co-funders. Brittany develops and structures funding opportunities to drive large-scale change in the focus areas of the foundation.

Brittany's career has focused on effecting social change through strategy and investment, with experience in consulting, corporate strategy, and philanthropy. Most recently, she worked at the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, a venture philanthropy firm that makes highly engaged investments in scalable social enterprises. Prior to Draper Richards Kaplan, Brittany worked at Johnson & Johnson, where she managed the corporation's global portfolio of HIV/AIDS philanthropic investments. Brittany began her career at McKinsey & Company, where she provided strategic and analytical support to Fortune 100 companies across a variety of industries as well as organizations in the social sector, including foundations, multilaterals, and large nonprofits.
