Biography

Camilo Galvis is the Executive Director of the abc* Foundation. Prior to joining the abc*, Camilo was the Minister Counselor for Economic Affairs of the Embassy of Colombia in London, where he promoted the negotiation and ratification of the Free Trade Agreement between the Community of Andean Nations and the European Union.

Camilo is also a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University in New York City, where he conducts research on applied mathematics to finance and economics with the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the Columbia Business School.

Previously, he was the Director of Information of Fortune International, a Florida-based real estate development and investment firm, and an Integrated Technology Specialist with IBM.

Camilo holds a BS degree in Economics from the University of Los Andes in Colombia and the University of Sydney in Australia and an MS in Operations Research from Columbia University.
