Biography
Danial Noorani founded TCF-USA ( www.tcfusa.org ) in 2002 and served as the first President & current CEO of the organization. TCF-USA supports the building of civil society in Pakistan by providing quality education to underprivileged children and promoting gender equality. TCF-USA has funded 116 of the 910 schools established by The Citizens Foundation (TCF) of Pakistan. Danial is also a past President of ‘Apna Ghar’ (Our Home) www.apnaghar.org , a leading South Asian domestic violence agency in Chicago.
Danial worked at AT&T for 26 years and took a leading role in the efforts to introduce competition in the Telecommunications industry. He co-chaired the Illinois Commerce Commission workshop that set guidelines for telecom competition for the US. Danial represented AT&T at the FCC and several state utility commissions.
Danial has an MBA from Western Illinois University and did his undergraduate work from the University of Karachi.
