Emily is a global leader in systems change focused on transforming access to access to quality healthcare at the last mile. Emily is focused on aligning governments, donors, private sector partners, and NGOs to help scale and sustain innovations. Emily is recognized for her global leadership in improving supply chains and for developing scalable digital health solutions in low-and- middle income countries. She was a forerunner in the development of a global supply chain strategy, serving on Gavi’s supply chain strategy steering committee and increasing efforts to ensure that new vaccines, once introduced, reach those at the last mile.
Emily joined VillageReach in 2010, and served as Director of the Health Systems Group before becoming Vice President in 2015 and President in 2017. Prior to joining VillageReach, Emily worked with the International Training and Education Center on Health (I-TECH), Physicians for Human Rights, and a non-profit social enterprise focused on transforming the way nonprofits use technology to achieve their mission. Emily has an MPH from the University of Washington School of Public Health and Community Medicine and a BA from Princeton University.
