Frances Aanyu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Development Economics from Makerere University. She is currently the Head of Youth Engagement at Reach A Hand Uganda. In her role, she supports and mentors a diverse network of over 2,000 Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) advocates who enhance access to information and services for young people across different communities in Uganda. She has 6 years of experience in programming, community impact, and adolescent-youth training.
Frances is also the co-founder of Dash 4 Girls Uganda, a social venture that is using logical framework analysis to create community solutions to different issues. She was listed as part of the Skoll World Forum 2018 emerging leaders.
Frances is passionate about creating an enabling environment for young people to meaningfully participate in co-creating solutions for their communities.
