Director of Business Development, Dharma Platform, Inc.
University of Oxford, Saïd Business School MBA and Skoll Centre Associate Fellow, Class of 2011. Serial (social) entrepreneur and recent addition to the Dharma team: a new social impact technology startup dedicated to data empowerment.
Working with organizations like Doctors Without Borders, WHO, and Habitat for Humanity, Dharma is devoted to helping people use data to transform their work - no matter their level of expertise. Our simple yet powerful software makes it easy for anyone to quickly gather, understand, and act on the field-level information that drives critical business and organizational decisions.
Our impact on the humanitarian efforts in Syria was recently profiled in the scientific journal Nature, showing how our mobile record systems enable field medics working in war zones to deliver smarter, better, and faster care through access to population and patient data even with no connectivity: nature.com/news/out-of-the-syrian-crisis-a-data-revolution-takes-shape-1.22886
Dharma recently secured its Series A investment led by the Rise Fund; a global impact-driven venture fund backed by TPG and many leaders of business and philanthropy. Working across our offices in SF, DC, and London, my role here is to expand on the exciting work we’re doing in the humanitarian field while also exploring new sectors for our technology, such as renewable energy and sustainable agriculture.
We are actively looking for organizations across industries and geographies to partner and pilot with. If you (or anyone you know) would like to learn more about us, I'd love to hear your ideas and questions, and show and tell you more about the exciting data-driven, outcome-oriented technology we're developing here at Dharma!
