Director of Communications and OutreachSocial Progress Imperative
Jonathan Talbot is Director of Communications and Outreach at the Social Progress Imperative. He has focused for more than a decade on translating complex original research for a variety of audiences, with an emphasis on comparing governance in different countries. He most recently managed the communications team at The Institute for Inclusive Security, the world’s leading organization elevating the role of women in preventing and resolving armed conflict. Previously, Mr. Talbot worked at the World Resources Institute, including managing communications for its institutions and governance program and co-authoring a book on increasing civil society participation in environmental decisions. He holds an MS in science and medical journalism from Boston University and a BA in Science & Technology Studies from Cornell University.
