Karen Elaine Wilson

Biography

Karen works at the OECD where she focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation and finance, including social impact investment. She is also a Senior Fellow at Bruegel, a leading international economics think tank based in Brussels, Belgium and a Visiting Fellow at Oxford Said Business School. Karen is the founder of GV Partners, a research and consulting firm she created in 2004. She is a Board Member and Advisor of the European Foundation for Entrepreneurship Research (EFER), a member of the European Leadership Council for Harvard Business School and serves as an expert on the European Commission Horizon 2020 Access to Risk Finance Advisory Group. Previously, Karen was a Senior Fellow at the Kauffman Foundation, worked in venture capital and served as part of the senior management team at the World Economic Forum. She received, with honors, a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
