Katherine Green is a journalist and media executive with more than thirty years of experience, She most recently served as the Senior Vice President of News for the newly formed Trifune Media Company, overseeing news operations in 32 cities responsible for more than 70,000 hours of programming annually. Prior to the Tribune, she had a highly successful run at CNN Worldwide as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of CNN International and as the Senior Vice President of HLN. Green worked in local news for more than 20 years, serving as Fox's Vice President of News in Washington at WTTG-TV; News Director for the Hearst owned WBAL-TV a in Baltimore and with stints in New York, Miami, Tampa and Jacksonville. She received numerous awards including two prestigious Duponts, a dozen Edward R Murrow awards and five Emmys. Green is now pursuing development of a new kind of news service, designed to bring about social justice and social change.
