Lisha McCormick is the Chief Operating Officer of Last Mile Health. She joined LMH in 2013 as Chief Development Officer, leading the team through a period of tremendous growth into an organization supporting the Government of Liberia to extend lifesaving healthcare to 1.2 million Liberians, and advocating globally for more inclusive health systems and health systems financing. Lisha has over 20 years of non-profit management experience and expertise in strategic partnerships and planning. Before joining LMH, Lisha’s career was principally focused on public sector healthcare in the United States. In previous roles, she worked to tailor programs and services to meet the needs of runaway and homeless youth, those living with mental illness, and those combating substance abuse. Lisha ventured into global health in 2010, serving for two years with Village Health Works, a community-based healthcare organization operating in East Africa. Lisha holds a Master of Public Health from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, a Certificate in Executive Management from Columbia University Business School, and a dual bachelor’s degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
