Marcela Manubens

Global Vice President Social Impact, Unilever


Ms Manubens is Global Vice President for Social Impact at Unilever, and is responsible for leading the implementation of the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights at Unilever. Ms Manubens also leads the development of the livelihoods pillar of the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan, with a special focus on women’s and economic inclusion and workers throughout the value chain.

Prior to joining Unilever, Ms Manubens was Corporate Social Responsibility Officer at PVH Corp, overseeing its global CSR programme. Ms Maubens established PVH Human Rights programme in the early 1990s.

Ms Manubens is Chair of the Board of Global Social Compliance Programme (GSCP), participates in the Fair Labor Association, a tripartite initiative to eradicate sweatshops established by President Clinton. She is also a member of the Women’s Foreign Policy Group in Washington, DC.
