Biography

MJ Viederman is a communications strategist, marketer and brand specialist for social change organizations. Currently the CEO of Wrapt, a new marketplace for better gift-giving, Viederman cares most about working in business where there is opportunity for innovation and impact. At Wrapt, the innovation is in the way technology is being used to promote pro-social behavior and impact is aimed at presenting a robust marketplace for social enterprises. The company is its beta phase and will launch in 2017- Wrapt.us.

Viederman has spent more than 30 years developing branding, strategic communications and innovative partnerships for leading brands with a focus on corporate social responsibility, entrepreneurship and social change. These brands have included both for-profit and non-profit social change organizations including Lindblad Expeditions/National Geographic, Honest Tea, Odwalla, Miraval, The Better Fish, Stonyfield Farm, Verite, Icestone, and Goodweave, to name a few.

Her own firms, TRU2U, and Living Out Loud Communications, were designed as social change communications firms to provide organizations with innovative thinking and execution through campaigns, partnerships and strategic marketing for impact. TRU2U was uniquely designed as an incubator for students of the 5 College Consortium in Amherst MA where she and her husband lived before relocating recently to DC.
