A licensed psychologist for almost 30 years, Dr. Pamela Ryan holds leadership positions in several international organizations. A dual Australian American citizen who has lived between Texas and South Australia for 28 years, she spent her first decade in Texas immersed in the US venture capital industry, working with entrepreneurs and conducting doctoral research on VC decision making. Dr Ryan has continued her involvement in the VC industry as an investor, consultant and Limited Partner. In the last two decades, Dr. Ryan has experienced the challenges of being an entrepreneur, having co-founded NGO's Psychology Beyond Borders and Issues Deliberation Australia/America. Dr. Ryan is Co-Founder and Chair of the Tingari-Silverton Foundation, an international foundation funding social enterprises around the world. She is currently the Managing Director of the Tingari Group, with a portfolio of business partnerships and investments, including a ranch in Texas and cattle station in Australia. Dr. Ryan has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of South Australia and the Order of Australia Medal by the Australian Government for contributions to the field of psychology.
