Biography

Parag founded Waste Capital Partners, a circular economy firm that converts municipal waste into much-needed organic compost for small farmers in emerging markets. It is one of the fastest growing waste management firms in India and partners with multilaterals and governments to build the waste management sector. Previously, he was Associate Director of the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship and a Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum where he created the inaugural Global Councils on Impact Investing & Social Enterprise. He was a management consultant at The Bridgespan Group and also worked with Technoserve Nicaragaua. He holds an MPP from Harvard University and a BA from U. Chicago where he was Student Association President. He has spoken before the UN General Assembly, TEDx conferences, and multiple universities on the impact economy.
