Viviana Cadavid

Biography

Viviana is a former corporate world worker turned social entrepreneur. After being away from her home country, Colombia, for fourteen years, she moved back to found CadaVida, a foundation dedicated to improving the lives of women thru job opportunities and training. CadaVida (“Each Life”) empowers women to unleash their potential to become self-sufficient, bringing positive impact to their family and communities

Viviana has over ten years of professional experience. Prior to CadaVida, she served as Managing Director at Transfer CAP, an investment and advisory firm focused on China's cleantech industry that she co-founded. She also held various positions at Schneider Electric, where she managed cross-functional teams across the globe to develop large-scale, industrial energy systems.

Viviana was selected to the first-ever cohort of "50 Under 40" by American Express, an exclusive program for Emerging Social Enterprise Leaders. She was awarded the 2014 Premio Foco Colombia, an initiative of the Angelica Fuentes Foundation.

Viviana received a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from Belfort Montbeliard UTBM in France and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole des Mines de Paris. Viviana’s education also includes studies at Boston University, the Sorbonne and the THNK School of Creative Leadership in Amsterdam.
