The Rising Tide of Entrepreneurship

Wednesday, April 15, 2015

Session Description

In developed countries, SMEs produce 60-70% of jobs. However in MENA SMEs account for 30% of private sector employment and 4-16% of total employment. In 2010 we launched an initiative in Silicon Valley to help us meet those challenges. Our results exceeded expectations. Companies in our community have provided employment for 70K+ people, education for 25K students, and helped raise $1.2B in funding for promising initiatives. Meet some of the entrepreneurs that have made it happen.
