Dr. Nancy Messonnier Joins Skoll Foundation as Executive Director for Pandemic Prevention and Health Systems

June 1, 2021

We are excited to welcome Dr. Nancy Messonnier to the Skoll Foundation as the Executive Director for Pandemic Prevention and Health Systems!

Jeff Skoll has long supported efforts to prevent pandemics globally, originally through the Skoll Global Threats Fund, the subsequent creation of Ending Pandemics, and since the arrival of COVID-19, through the Skoll Foundation.

As the Foundation continues to work to address the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, we are also keenly focused on helping build out the global system needed to prevent another COVID-like pandemic in the future. As a world-class public health leader with deep expertise in tackling and preventing infectious disease by working through government alongside business and civil society, Dr. Messonnier is a fantastic addition to the team driving this work forward.
