We’re thrilled to introduce our sixth cohort of Skoll Fellows: 34 extraordinary leaders from around the world driving positive change at the frontlines of today’s most pressing issues. Launched in 2018, the Fellowship is a peer-centered network that begins with the Skoll World Forum and continues year-round as a network of mutual care, shared learning, and regional connection opportunities. Returning Skoll Fellows co-create and co-host the network in collaboration with the Skoll Foundation year-round.
The Power of Community: Accelerating Transformation
This year, we welcome 34 leaders from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Cameroon, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Guatemala, Jordan, Kenya, Mexico, Peru, South Africa, Tribal Nations in the U.S., and Uganda. Our Fellows are social innovators, storytellers, policy leaders, and connectors. Their work spans health equity, storytelling, LGBTQI rights, youth-led democracy, climate justice, disability rights, and entrepreneurial inclusion. We’re proud that this year, half of our incoming Fellows were nominated by members of the 2023 Fellowship cohort.
The Skoll Fellows network illustrates how connection, access, and visibility accelerate transformational social change. Over the years, we have seen impactful connections and collaborations bloom. By offering Fellows opportunities to meet and connect across regions, these leaders continue to find opportunities to co-create, invest, and champion community-driven approaches. Likewise, Skoll Fellows play strategic advisory roles supporting the Skoll Foundation’s global mission to center those most proximate to pressing issues. More than ten Fellow-led organizations have later been funded by Skoll Foundation, and four received the Skoll Award for Social Innovation to fuel their innovative work.
