In 2025, our global network of change leaders and social innovators gathered in Oxford, UK and online for the 22nd Forum. Oxford attendance was curated by the Skoll Foundation team, with free virtual participation open to everyone.
In a time of rapid change and division, it was rejuvenating to come together and explore the concept of kintsugi—a Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics and porcelain, typically with gold—as one way to meet the moment. It calls on us to find our shared humanity in the cracks of the world, mend fractures with a sense of interconnection, and drive new and better outcomes in our communities and global systems.
