Join us to hear how the new Impact Water Social Success Note will benefit an extra 1.4 million children in Uganda in addition to the 700,000 children already benefiting from clean drinking water. Using a concessional loan conditional on achieving impact, the Social Success Note program will deliver clean drinking water in schools across the country to ensure children are healthy, able to learn and fulfill their potential.
The Social Success Note is a collaboration between Yunus Social Business, the UBS Optimus Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation, and will be launched officially at the event. Innovative development financing models such as this seek to harness return-seeking capital to support and enable front-line social businesses to more effectively address the world’s most pressing social challenges.
